Yogurt Dip With Cinnamon & Honey
- 8 Whole Grain Crisps
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp. honey, or to taste (preferably local!)
- 1 tbsp. raisins (optional)
In a small bowl, gently combine the yogurt and honey. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Dip your crunchy crisps and enjoy the amazing contrast between the lightly sweetened yogurt and the perfect crunchiness of your crisp. Repeat as necessary. Remaining yogurt dip may be stored covered in refrigerator.
Raisins would make a nice textural contrast here, but many little ones might not care for these! Add at your discretion.
You’re of course more than welcome to skip the honey and use pre-sweetened flavored yogurt instead, but keep in mind that most flavored yogurts are little more than sugar bombs and often use high-fructose corn syrup or other artificial sweeteners. By adding local honey, you can control the amount of sweetener as well as support local business — and possibly help alleviate your allergies too! What a bonus!
