Shrimp With Spicy Cajun Cocktail Sauce

Servings 6-8
  • 1-2 dozen (51-60 count) shrimp, peeled and tails removed
  • 1-2 dozen Toasted Onion Crisps
  • Cocktail Sauce*
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp. horseradish
  • 1-2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1-2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1-2 tsp. Creole seasoning, to taste
  • Tabasco, to taste
  • Chopped green onion

*short cut – mix 1-2 tsp. Creole seasoning with your favorite spicy cocktail sauce


Boil shrimp for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Chill in an ice bath. Combine all cocktail sauce ingredients in a bowl and chill. Put a ½ tsp. of cocktail sauce on a crisp and top with shrimp and a sprinkle of onion. Makes 12-24 appetizers.
