Avocado, Sea Salt & Red Pepper Flakes

Servings 1–2
  • 8 Whole Grain Crisps
  • 1/2 firm-ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and thinly sliced
  • Flaked sea salt, such as Maldon
  • Red pepper flakes

Arrange whole grain crisps on a serving platter. Top each crisp with a slice of avocado, a sprinkle of sea salt and a few chili flakes. Enjoy the creamy, salty, spicy goodness at once!

Try a tiny squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice over the avocado just before serving to really brighten the flavors.

A few drops of hot sauce make a great substitute for red pepper flakes.

This makes a terrific snack and is easy for kids to make too, as long as they have an adult’s help with slicing the avocado.
